 Uterine horn not labeled, but visible. The رباط الرحم المستدير is at the left, labeled as #1. It travels to the right, and attaches to the رحم at the center. The قناة فالوب is unnumbered, but it is visible above the uterus, and travels downward to attach at a location near the round ligament.

إن قرون الرحم هي النقاط حيث التقاء الرحم و قناة فالوب. فهي واحدة من نقاط التعلق بين رباط الرحم المستدير (والآخر جبل العانة).
قرون الرحم تكون أكثر وضوحا في الحيوانات الأخرى (مثل الأبقار و القطط) مما هي في البشر. في القط ، زرع الجنين يحدث في واحد من اثنين من قرون الرحم ، وليس جسم الرحم نفسه.
